Russian Overnight Drone Strikes Leave Five Dead In Ukraine

Russian missile attacks on the city of Dnipro claimed the lives of three people, including a child, and wounded 19 others, local officials reported on Saturday.

Sergiy Lysak, governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, confirmed the overnight strikes damaged multiple buildings, with a two-story residential building completely destroyed.

In separate attacks on Kyiv and its surrounding areas, two more people, including a teenage girl, were killed in drone strikes, regional authorities confirmed.

Throughout Russia’s invasion, Ukrainian cities have faced ongoing missile and drone attacks, with Kyiv appealing to its allies for additional air defense support as Moscow escalates strikes on energy infrastructure ahead of what is expected to be a challenging winter.
