Bobrisky Falls Ill In Police Custody, Rushed To Hospital

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, was rushed to the hospital after falling ill while detained at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.

Bobrisky, who had spent the night in police custody, was transported to Falomo Police Hospital around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance. A source revealed that he complained of severe chest pain and was visibly distressed.

The crossdresser was seen in a black gown, covering his face with a shawl, and lying down during the transport.

Bobrisky was arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Monday night at the Seme border in Lagos while allegedly attempting to leave the country.

The FCID is currently investigating the case and is expected to seek a remand order for Bobrisky’s continued detention.

NIS spokesperson, Kenneth Udo, confirmed Bobrisky’s arrest, describing him as a “person of interest.” A statement from the FCID on the case is expected to be released soon.
