Kaduna LG Elections: APC Sweeps All 23 Chairmanship, 255 Councillorship Seats

The Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KAD-SIECOM) has declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) victorious in all contested positions during the local government elections held across the state on Saturday.

Announcing the results, KAD-SIECOM Chairman, Hajara Mohammed, confirmed that the APC won all 23 local government chairmanship seats and all 255 councillorship positions.

Mohammed stated that eight political parties participated in the elections, but the APC candidates emerged as winners in every position.

“The electoral officers have submitted their reports, and at the end of the exercise, APC candidates won all 23 chairmanship positions and 255 councillorship seats across the state,” she said.

She added that the results were compiled and declared in full compliance with the law, with local government and ward returning officers officially announcing the outcomes in their respective constituencies.
