Dammy Krane Criticizes VDM For Favouritism Amid Ongoing Legal Dispute

On October 15, 2024, Dammy Krane took to Instagram to express frustration over his past interactions with VDM, accusing the advocate of not supporting him properly during a legal dispute.

Krane claimed VDM failed to handle his case with the same diligence he has shown in other matters.

In August 2024, following Krane’s reported arrest by Davido, VDM publicly called for his release on social media. However, Krane now feels that VDM did not thoroughly examine the evidence before speaking on his behalf.

In a video posted online, Krane stated, “I feel like God is using this Falana case to show VDM that he didn’t do right by me. If it was someone else, he would have looked into the evidence.”

Krane went on to accuse VDM of favouritism, alleging that VDM did not investigate his claims against Davido, particularly regarding money owed to him for songs. “VDM should have looked into the case where I said Davido owed me money. It was what he posted online that I referenced, and in the Dangote case, I only repeated what the police said.”

He further accused VDM of “selective activism,” claiming that the advocate based his actions on personal biases. Krane added that VDM had asked him to apologize, but he refused. “I couldn’t apologise for telling the truth because they have no evidence against me. If I had apologised, they would have used it to take me to court.”

Referencing VDM’s current legal troubles, Krane concluded, “Now, after he apologised, it’s 500 million.”
