“Reduce Fuel, Food Prices” – Ndume To Tinubu

Senator Ali Ndume (APC, Borno South) has called on President Bola Tinubu to take immediate action to alleviate the economic hardship facing Nigerians, particularly in relation to soaring food and energy costs.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Ndume expressed concern over the rising prices of fuel, food, and essential goods, which he says have made life increasingly unbearable for the poor and vulnerable.

He also warned of “fifth columnists” and saboteurs working to undermine the administration’s legacy by promoting harsh and ineffective policies.

Ndume urged the President to be cautious of advisers pushing for damaging reforms, which are worsening inflation and hurting the purchasing power of ordinary Nigerians.

He called for urgent intervention to ease the suffering of families struggling to meet basic needs, especially in Borno State, where many can no longer afford food or transportation due to rising costs.

He appealed to President Tinubu to resist bad influences and address the issues quickly, warning that the patience of Nigerians is being tested.
