Senator Buba Rufutes Governor Bala Mohammed’s Banditry Allegation

Senator Shehu Umar Buba, representing Bauchi South and Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence, has refuted Governor Bala Mohammed’s accusation of supporting banditry, calling it baseless and laughable.

In a statement by his Legislative Assistant, Hassan Gajin Duguri, Senator Buba criticized the governor’s petition to President Tinubu, describing it as a regrettable attempt at defamation.

He accused the governor of consistently attacking both the senator and the president, saying the petition is merely a continuation of such behavior.

The statement also highlighted Senator Buba’s efforts in combating insecurity and his contributions to his constituency, while dismissing the governor’s actions as politically motivated attempts to undermine the senator’s standing.

Despite the accusations, Senator Buba affirmed his commitment to serving his constituents and safeguarding the nation’s security.
