‘Japa’: Banky W Relocates To US With His Family

Bankole Wellington, better known by his stage name Banky W, is a Nigerian R&B artist who moved to the US with his family.

In a recent Instagram post, the EME CEO declared his intention to attend Georgetown University in Washington, DC, to obtain a master’s degree.

The musician asked his fans to send their well wishes to him and his family while posting a photo of himself, his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport.

In his Instagram caption, Banky W wrote: “For family. For finding purpose.

For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.

“Wish us well.”

Reacting via the comment section, his wife Adesua wrote, “Home is wherever you are.”
