Ini Edo: From Saint to Sinner

In 2020, Ini Edo attacked the former Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo of keeping mute and misleading Nigerians during the EndSARS protest.

In the same way, Ini Edo has fed on the same gullible Nigerians by releasing a misleading information to Nigerians and her fans. Last week, Ini Edo posted and epistle on her social media handle suggesting she is getting married soon.

As expected, many Nigerians rushed to congratulate her. Media houses spread the story of the veteran getting married until another media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu debunked the news in a dramatic way calling it a stunt.

He surprised viewers during Sunday’s Big Brother eviction show by revealing that actress Ini Edo’s recent engagement announcement was a promotional stunt.

The confusion began when a tearful bride suddenly appeared on stage, leaving Ebuka and the audience puzzled.

Approaching her, Ebuka asked if she was a housemate, but the bride remained silent.

He eventually clarified that the scene was a promotion for Ini Edo’s upcoming film, The Fairy Tale Wedding, which is set to premiere on October 20, 2024.

Ebuka clarified: “For those of you who got excited by Ini Edo’s earlier post, you were misled. It was a movie promotion.”
