Galatasaray Announces Plans To Make Victor Osimhen’s Stay Permanent

Galatasaray has disclosed that the club is determined to make Victor Osimhen’s stay at Galatasaray permanent.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan in early September after a last-minute move to Chelsea fell through on transfer deadline day.

Rumors have circulated that Osimhen’s contract with Galatasaray includes clauses that could allow top European clubs to secure his permanent transfer as early as January. However, Hatipoğlu has dismissed these reports, asserting that the Super Eagles striker is committed to the Istanbul giants until June 2025.

Hatipoğlu emphasized that Osimhen is content at Galatasaray and revealed that the reigning Turkish champions are already working on plans to retain him beyond the summer.

“Osimhen leaving in January is not an option,” Hatipoğlu stated in remarks shared by NTVSpor. “In fact, we are making plans for him to play next season as well. Osimhen is a Galatasaray player until June. The rumors about his departure are simply attempts to shift focus and disrupt the joy of watching Osimhen play. He demonstrates his commitment to Galatasaray in every match.

“A player stays where he is happy, and Osimhen has a contract with us until the end of the season. He is very happy to be at Galatasaray. We should be thinking about how to continue with Osimhen in the coming seasons, rather than speculating about a departure during the winter break.”
