Elder Statesman Aminu Dantata Donates N1.5 Billion to Maiduguri Flood Victims

Elder statesman and business magnate, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, has donated N1.5 billion to support victims of the recent floods that devastated parts of Maiduguri, Borno State.

Dantata made the donation during a visit to the Government House in Maiduguri on Tuesday, where he expressed his condolences to Governor Babagana Zulum and the people of the state.

Leading a delegation from Kano, Dantata conveyed his deep sorrow over the losses suffered by flood victims and urged the country’s elites and political leaders to repent and fear God, lamenting the deteriorating economic conditions in Nigeria.

Governor Zulum, in response, expressed profound gratitude to Dantata, noting that his visit and generous donation brought hope and solidarity during this difficult time.

 “The people of Borno deeply appreciate this magnanimous gesture. Our Baba has donated N1.5 billion to support the flood victims,” Zulum announced.

Dantata’s donation follows an earlier contribution of N1 billion by his nephew, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, also aimed at assisting flood victims in the region.
