Accion Microfinance Bank Hosts Brighta Mind 2.0 Debate

Accion Microfinance Bank, in a demonstration of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, recently hosted the Brighta Mind 2.0 debate competition. The three-day event, which showcased the intellectual prowess of participating students, was designed to provide valuable support to schools in the community.

The debate competition kicked off with an intense discussion between Precious King School and Cerebral School on the topic, “Should schools prioritize practical and technical knowledge in education?” Precious King School emerged victorious in this preliminary round, securing their place in the grand finale with a remarkable performance.

Day two of the competition featured a triple-threat match involving Homat Group of Schools, Unique Prella College, and Regium Secondary Schools. All three schools tackled the same debate topic: “Should schools prioritize practical and technical knowledge in education?” Homat Group of Schools demonstrated exceptional debating skills, earning a well-deserved spot in the finale.

The grand finale, a highly anticipated event, pitted Homat Group of Schools against Precious King College in a heated debate on the thought-provoking topic, “Should Artificial Intelligence replace teachers in the classroom?” Homat Group of Schools emerged as the undisputed champions, delivering persuasive arguments and captivating the audience with their eloquence.
