Rema Donates N105M To Support Church’s Mission

Afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, made a significant gesture of gratitude to his home church, Christ Embassy, on Sunday.

The singer donated a substantial sum of N105 million to the church during a service, expressing his deep appreciation for the support and guidance he has received.

In a heartfelt speech captured on video, Rema emphasized that his donation was a way to give back to God and the church that has been instrumental in his spiritual journey.

He pledged N40 million towards the church’s infrastructure, N20 million to the Rhapsody of Realities ministry, and N25 million to the teens church where he once belonged. Additionally, he donated N20 million to widows within the church community.

Rema shared a personal story about how Christ Embassy supported his family during a difficult time after his father’s passing.

He recalled the kindness of Pastor Joy and Pastor Thomas, who opened a shop for his mother to help provide for them.

Ahead of his highly anticipated homecoming concert, Rema arrived in Benin on Tuesday, accompanied by music producer Don Jazzy and the Mavin crew. The singer was honored with a royal plaque by the Oba of Benin as a token of appreciation for his achievements.
