RCCG General Overseer Appointed Patron Of Ecumenical Synod

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has been appointed as the patron of the Ecumenical Synod of Bishops, Archbishops, and Senior Clergy Inc. (ESBAASC).

The appointment was announced at the ESBAASC conference held at the Emmanuel Park, RCCG Redemption Camp, from August 22 to 25.

The conference focused on the theme “Religious Tolerance in Nigeria and Across the Nations of the World,” underscoring the importance of interfaith harmony.

Representing Pastor Adeboye at the conference, Pastor Joseph Obayemi, the RCCG National Overseer Emeritus, acknowledged the current challenges facing Nigeria and expressed concern over the decline in national standards compared to the past.

Drawing from his personal experiences as a young man, Pastor Obayemi emphasized that religious tolerance is a cornerstone for national development, peace, and unity.

He emphasized that tolerance fosters mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence, and unity among people of diverse cultures, both in Nigeria and globally.
