I will not Watch Wike Destroy Rivers State -Edwin Clark

An Elder Statesman and  former Minister of Information,  Chief Edwin Clark has vowed not to allow  The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike destroy Rivers State,  accusing Wike of using his closeness to President Bola Tinubu to intimidate  Simi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State.

Interacting with Newsmen at his residence in Abuja, the Niger Delta leader called on Iliya Damagun  The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to expel Wike if he desires the survival of the party, stressing that  he was already a politician before Wike was born. Clark informed Damagun that if the party does not expell Wike , the party, Wike and his cohort will be consumed

The Elder Statesman  alleged that Wike failed and is now using the party against itself.

The former Minister said that Wike is now “dancing naked” with the All Progressives Congress, APC.

“After conceding that former Rivers State governor, Peter Odili and his wife made him what he is today and will forever remain grateful to them, he is now abusing them. I won’t allow him to destroy Rivers State.” He said.
