MSMEs Presidential Loans And Grant Begins In September

In September, the Federal Government will start making payments to more than 700 confirmed manufacturers and MSMEs across the country under the Presidential Grant and Loan Scheme.

This was disclosed by Dr. Doris Anite, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, at a check-presenting ceremony for recipients in Calabar, Cross River State.

660,320 nanobeneficiaries have already gotten money under the Presidential Loans and Grant Scheme, according to Dr. Anite. She also said that loan payments for MSMEs and manufacturers would start the following month once more than 700,000 applications have been verified.

Governor Otu of Cross River State, while praising the initiative, remarked that the Presidential Conditional Grant has been a transformative force for the citizens of the state, revitalizing small businesses and enhancing economic prospects.

The interactive session created an opportunity for open dialogue, fostering collaboration between the federal and state governments to advance economic empowerment. With over N200 billion Naira allocated to support growth, employment, and prosperity, the initiative is set to make a significant impact.
