Olukoya Calls For Spiritual Power to Combat Evil

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has urged Christians nationwide to seek divine empowerment to fulfill their destinies and overcome the growing forces of darkness.

Delivering a sermon at the church’s 35th anniversary convention themed “Power From on High,” Olukoya emphasized the critical role of spiritual authority in the Christian life.

The event, held at the MFM Prayer City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, marked the growth of the ministry from a humble prayer meeting of 24 people in 1989 to its current stature.

Drawing inspiration from John 3:27, the cleric asserted that true power originates from heaven and is essential for overcoming life’s challenges.

He warned against the increasing influence of evil and stressed the need for spiritual warfare to counteract its impact.

Olukoya called on believers to prioritize seeking divine power to enable them to conquer spiritual adversaries.

Recall that the General Overseer recently received a Presidential Achievement Award from the President, United States of America, Joe Biden.

The award of honour was presented by an official representative of Biden at the ministry’s America headquarters in Houston.
