‘No Job For Sale’-NNPC Ltd Warns

Reports claiming that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPC Ltd.) was selling job vacancies to the general public has been refuted.

Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., encouraged the public, particularly job hunters, to ignore the rumors in a statement released on Saturday.

Soneye claimed that the rumors that it is offering job openings to anyone who wants to purchase were completely untrue.

The “antics of fraudsters” that prey on gullible applicants were among the things he described.

It issued a warning, stating that as a responsible business body, hiring new employees is a simple procedure that doesn’t include any form of incentive or slot sales.

It warned that anyone who pays money for any job in the company does so at his or her own risk.
