Vacancy: CBN Seeks Qualified Candidate For WAMA Director-General

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has issued a call for applications to fill the position of Director-General at the West African Monetary Agency (WAMA).

The announcement was made public on Tuesday via the CBN’s official website.

According to the memo Ideal candidates for this high-level role must possess extensive experience in economics or finance and a proven track record of leadership.

Applicants must be citizens of an ECOWAS member state and under the age of 55 as of July 31, 2024.

To qualify, candidates are required to have at least two decades of professional experience, including a minimum of ten years in senior management roles within a multilateral organization, government agency, or central bank.
