2024 Olympics: Team-Nigeria Knocked Out Of Boxing Caterogry

Nigerian lose out of the boxing categoy after boxer Olaitan Olaore was defeated in the men’s 92kg heavyweight boxing macth at the ongoing Olympic games in Paris.

Olaore was defeated by Kazakhstan’s Oralbay Aibek, who showed an exceptional skill, securing 5-0 to win on points.

Aibek displayed that he possessed skilled qualities of a boxer, as he moved in his quest for gold. He won all three rounds with unanimous support from the five judges, who scored the match 30-26 in his favor.

Olaore’s defeat means Nigeria’s hopes for a medal in boxing have been dashed.
