Statisense Report: Over 162 Million Nigerians Visited Porn and Betting Sites in June

According to a recent report by StatiSense, over 162 million Nigerian mobile users visited porn and betting sites in June.

The mosted visited sites include adult platforms Xvideos and Xnxx, June 2024 report reveals.

The AI data company also showed top websites visited by Nigerians on mobile devices in June.

According to a post shared by StatiSense on its official X page, the top visited websites included a mix of search engines, social media apps, and betting platforms. Notably, Xvideos and Xnxx, two adult sites, collectively received 80.18 million visits, ranking second and sixth respectively.

Nigerian mobile users visited sporting websites 176.83 million times. Of these, 83.1 million visits were allocated to sports betting sites Sportybet and Bet9ja, which secured third and fourth places on the list.

Interestingly, despite the high traffic to these sites, major social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Instagram did not make it into StatiSense’s top ten most visited websites by Nigerians for June 2024. Google and Facebook were also among the sites that featured prominently in the report.
