Breaking: Kano Governor Orders Aminu Ado Bayero, the deposed emir, to Be Arrested

Immediately Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the deposed Kano Emir, has been ordered to be arrested right away by KANO State Governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf.

According to News Point Nigeria, the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, informed reporters of the decision early on Saturday. “Aminu Ado Bayero’s unprecedented return to Kano is nothing but a move to cause chaos and unrest in the state,” Governor Yusuf claims.

“Therefore, I have directed the Commissioner of Police in the State to arrest Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, wherever he is seen in the state”, the voice statement read in part.

THE MATRIX had earlier reported the return of Aminu Ado Bayero to Kano early hours of Saturday.

The aircraft which conveyed the monarch touched down at the Aminu Kano International airport at 4:30am.

He was immediately thronged by his supporters, who were chanting a verse from Surah Al-Fatihah in the Holy Qur’an.

The former Emir, who was fully dressed in royal regalia, did not respond to the crowd as he took his steps consciously.

He later observed Subhi (dawn prayer) at the airport.
