Obi Speaks On LP Party Dispute, Says It Is Nothing Compared To Dispute In PDP, APC

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the general election of 2023, asserts that the ongoing conflict inside the party is insignificant in comparison to the ongoing disputes between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

THE MATRIX remembers that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Labour Party leadership were engaged in a power struggle as the Labour Union attempted to seize control of the party due to accusations of corruption made against Julius Abure, the national chairman of the organization.

On the other hand, Obi said that the APC and PDP were far more aberrant than the Labour Party during a news conference on Wednesday.

According to Obi. the ongoing dispute in the party is something that can be dealt with.

Obi said, “Let me tell you, as you imagine the abnormality in the Labour Party, it is not anything to be compared with what is happening in the other two parties. It is far minor, and it is something that has been dealt with; we are dealing with a system; every system has its ups and downs, and it will be managed. I assure you, this will also be dealt with, there is nothing out of control in this exercise, things go wrong and are corrected.”
