Amid Protests, Ododo Announces Aiyedatiwa Winner Of Ondo State APC Primary

Amid protests, the Ondo State Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has been declared the winner of the governorship primary of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state, held on Saturday.

In the poll, the governor scored a total of 48,460 votes in the total votes cast in the 18 local government areas of the state.

The result was announced by the Primary Election Committee headed by the Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, on Sunday.

Earlier, leading aspirants like Olusola Oke, Adewale Akinterinwa, Olugbenga Edema have since condemned the conduct of the exercise and called for its cancellation.
