Wike Strikes, Closes ICC In Abuja

Due to inadequate upkeep, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has ordered the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja to close for a period of six months.

This happened just a few days after Wike abruptly ended Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd.’s contract to administer the International Conference Center in Abuja.

Julius Berger Nig Plc was also given the contract for the center’s urgent, extensive restoration by him.

THE MATRIX reports the ICC was constructed by Julius Berger and was completed in 1990.
