Why Lord Lamba Did Not Publicly Claim his Child With BBNaija’s Queen

Nigerian comedian Kevin Anagbogu, also referred to as Lord Lamba, has revealed why he hasn’t made his daughter with Big Brother Naija contestant Queen Mercy Atang a public claim.

According to Naija News, Lord Lamba initially shared a picture of their daughter on social media following his mother’s engagement to longtime partner David.

Soon after, a number of Nigerians attacked the sketch creator, accusing him of jealousy and trying to sabotage Queen’s happiness.

To shield his daughter from trolls, Lamba stated in a public statement posted on his official Instagram profile on Monday that he never wanted to see his child’s face on social media.

According to him, he has the right to protect his child as a father while refuting claims of being a deadbeat father.

He added that if he had never wanted to claim the child, he would not have been at her birthday party or taken her on play dates.

He wrote: “Myself and her mom are public figures, but she is only a minor. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE TO ALLOW MY CHILD GROW AND DECIDE IF SHE WANTS TO BE ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR NOT .. The fact I have seen children trolled and called names on social media probably because parents are public figures. Me spending time with my child in public (real life) makes more sense to me than social media. My child is not a click bait or my craft … I LOVE YOU KAILEH”
