Commotion as Gunmen Kill Councillor in Delta state

There was panic and commotion in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State as unknown gunmen shot dead Honourable Festus, a Councillor representing Owhase Ward in the Udu Local Government Area Legislative Council, Delta State.

The weird men ambushed the politician in his abode, shooting him fatally on the head on Monday in what is believed to be cult related incident.

DSP Bright Edafe, The Delta State PPRO confirmed the incident, assuring that the police have commenced a comprehensive investigation into the matter and efforts underway to arrest the culprits.

“Yes one Festus was shot on his head by unknown assailants, the wife informed the brother. We are seriously on their trail.”The PPRO said.
