Former governor of Ondo State Rotimi Akeredolu will be buried on February 23, 2024 as the family on Monday evening released the funeral timetable for the former governor of the Sunshine state.
In a statement titled “Celebration Of A Remarkable Life” and signed by Oluwarotimi O. Akeredolu, Jnr on behalf of the family outlined the funeral plans.
The funeral rites will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2024 with a Service of Songs at the Winning Soul Crusade at MKO Abiola Democracy Park, Akure at 5 pm and will climax with Funeral Services on Friday, February 23, 2024 at St Andrew’s Anglican Church Cathedral, Imola Street, Owo at 10 am while interment will follow immediately after the burial service at the burial site, Owo in a strictly for immediate family event the burial schedule released by Oluwarotimi O. Akeredolu, Jnr. read partly.

It is with deep respect and a sense of duty that we invite our dear friends, associates, and well-wishers to join us in giving our late Patriarch a befitting funeral” the statement added.
It would be recalled that Akeredolu died on December 27, 2023, after a battle with illness.
