Singer Paul Okoye Says ‘In Nigeria, You’re Responsible For Your Own Safety’

Nigerians should take charge of their own safety, according to artist Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy of the Psquare.

In the midst of the nation’s growing unease, the artist made this statement.

In response to the government’s incapacity to effectively safeguard residents’ lives and property, Okoye counseled Nigerians to adopt preventative security measures on their own.

In a now viral post on his social media page, Okoye stated that Nigerians will be safer the sooner they acknowledge that they are in charge of their own security.

“The earlier you realize that you are responsible for your own safety in Nigeria, the safer you will be.”
