Afrobeat Star, Real-B, Makes A Clarion Call

Nigerian Afrobeat artist, Bright Obiejemba popularly called Real-B has urged Nigerian netizens to use social media to their advantage.

The Warri-born graduate of Petroleum Engineering Graduate from FUTO, Owerri, has urged Nigerians to take advantage of President Tinubu’s open-door policy to negotiate a better Nigeria.

He also advised the youth to avoid the growing norm of ‘I No Go Gree’ feasting in the consciousness of the youth. While highlighting how the new goal can be achieved, he pointed out that netizens have not realized the willingness of the current administration to listen to the youth.

“We all know that there is no other way again than to use this social media to form a pressure group that would demand and negotiate with the government.

“This is not about the party; APC, PDP, or APGA. This is we trying to face reality. We can start with educational reform. Our education system wastes time, SS1 to SS3 have the same curriculum. We can start a program that would boycott such time-wasting.

“The younger generation does not want to go to school anymore because they think that education does not serve their purpose of making and since their elders ones who had graduated with good results are yet to get a job.

“Then we can move to minimum wage where Nigerians be involved in the discussion and decision process. With this force, we can go to the grassroots to educate people on government matters. We can create a rapport with local government representatives to lodge our complaints rather than wait for the central body,” he stated
