FCT Minister, Wike Releases 2024 Plans

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has announced his goals for the upcoming year.

The former governor of Rivers State made note of the fact that the accomplishments made in 2023 under President Bola Tinubu’s direction will act as a model for carrying out the FCT’s development plan.

In a New Year’s greeting to the people of the Federal Capital Territory, Wike stated that his government has accomplished great things in a number of areas during the previous several months.

According to him, the administration’s efforts have been focused on developing infrastructure, guaranteeing efficient urban planning, supporting healthcare facilities, expanding education, and fostering an atmosphere that encourages companies to prosper.

According to Wike, in the year ahead, the FCT Administration will commit to implementing robust policies and initiatives that will bolster the development of the nation’s capital and ensure that it continues to thrive as a model of excellence in all ramifications.

He said his plans for the New Year includes the areas of Infrastructure development, economic empowerment, social welfare, sustainable development, community engagement, Inclusivity and security.

Wike urged residents of the FCT to join hands with the Administration in its effort to build a stronger, more prosperous, and harmonious capital territory.
