Nigeria must send more LNG to Germany, according to expert

According to Kayode Oluwadare, a Regional Energy Partner and Director at Energy Compact, Nigeria must export more LNG to Germany.

He said to Nairametrics on Monday that although there is now a significant demand for LNG, it would only grow in the next years, so the quantities might be greater.

He asserts that in order to fulfill rising demand, the nation must concentrate on other markets as well and boost LNG supply quantities..

He said:“The current global demand for LNG volumes is 400 million tons per annum (mtpa). Meanwhile, there are projections that by 2030, the demand for global LNG volumes will be around 700 million tons per annum (mtpa).”
