…Mr Ibu’s Wife, Adopted Daughter Clash Over Millions Donated For Ailing Actor’s Treatment

Stella Maris Okafor, the ailing Nollywood star John Okafor, also referred to as Mr. Ibu, has expressed her displeasure with the millions of Naira that her husband received as donations. This occurs a few days after internet rumors circulated, claiming that Stella is unnecessarily demanding money from well-meaning Nigerians in order to pay for her husband’s medical care. Additionally, Stella was charged with trying to utilize the funds contributed for Mr. Ibu’s medical care to support her opulent lifestyle and the purchase of a brand-new car for her own use.

However, in a statement via Instagram on Monday, Stella described the allegation as malicious, alleging that Jasmine Chioma Okeke, the adopted daughter of the ailing actor, was spreading rumours about her.

She also claimed that there was a plot to kick her out of the marriage and would address Jasmine’s excessive interference in her family affairs and other related matters at the right time.

Mr Ibu’s wife also said the bank account where donations are being made is secretly controlled by Jasmine, insisting she was making false allegations against her to have absolute control of the account.

Meanwhile, the recent clash comes just months after Stella Maris publicly disclosed that Jasmine is not Ibu’s biological daughter. She insinuated at the time that Jasmine is Ibu’s girlfriend, a claim that Ibu’s sons from his previous relationship rubbished.
