Emeka Ike’s Mum Dies, After Protracted Illness

The mother of Veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has died.

Mrs Comfort’s death was anounced via the instagram handle of the actor.

“My hero is gone, Rest in peace, world…mother.” Emeka Ike wrote on his Instagram page.

The actor has been receiving condolence messages from some of his fans and colleagues.

Popular for his lover boy role, the veteran movie star who broke into the Nigerian movie industry while as a student at the University of Lagos, rose to fame after meeting popular movie producer, Charles Owoyemi.

Since then, he has landed several leading parts in Nollywood movies, such as “I Swear,” “A Million Tears,” “Royal Calabash,” “Akunna,” “Secret Act,” and “A Million Tears.”

The veteran movie star in 2021 hinted of his plans to establish a television station that will focus on Nollywood.
