Shan George Rants Over Actors Seeking Help From Her

Nollywood actress Shan George has issued a warning to her peers, asking them to stop adding her to organizations unless they are ones that support the wellbeing of others.

In an emotional video posted on her Instagram page, Shan George, the former Chairman of Callywood—a nickname for the Calabar film industry—claimed that her coworkers never ask her for chances to make a livelihood but instead find methods to cause her to lose money under the guise of welfare.

The actress said that when she awoke on Thursday morning, she discovered that she was a part of fifteen WhatsApp groups where money was being raised for other coworkers.

Shan said that no one is concerned about her well-being or management style, but they are quick to ask her to donate money for others, and she warned her coworkers not to add her to any such organizations.

Shan alleged, “You have never called me for work before but whenever it’s time to make a contribution, you will form a WhatsApp group and put my name.”

Using slang, she said: “You dey do work o, you dey pay people o, you no ever one day remember say oh make we call this woman, Shan George, make she even take part for this major movie or work or even if na waka pass, make I just see small garri drink for house with my children.

“With all due respect to whoever! Mbok No dey call me for contribution if you don’t call me for work.”
