‘My Oga Remains My Oga’-Fubara to Wike As they Meet In Portharcourt

On Thursday, November 9,Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara declared that his predecessor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike continues to be his principal.

The declaration was made at the rededication ceremony for the Rivers State Judiciary’s 2023–2024 legal year,at state capital’s Saint Cyprian’s Anglican Church on Hospital Road ,in an event graced by Wike himself.

Addressing the situation, he resorted: “My oga remains my oga. Whatever has transpired is now history.

I haven’t instructed anyone to tarnish anyone’s reputation.”

Furthermore, the governor cautioned his supporters against using offensive language to criticize his opponents, asserting that he has not authorized such behavior.

He expressed the inevitability of facing challenges in the pursuit of development, likening it to the devil’s interference. 

 Arriving at a church service towards its conclusion, Wike, the minister for the Federal Capital Territory, exchanged handshakes with his successor and shared the same row with him throughout the ceremony.
