Popular Nollywood Make-Up Artist Narrowly Avoids Kidnappers, As Driver Shot

While traveling through Ikenne, Ogun State, Nollywood special effect makeup artist Hakeem Ajibola, also referred to as Hakeem Effect, narrowly avoided abduction.

According to Naija News, the renowned makeup artist revealed this in an Instagram post, claiming that the shooters also targeted his wife and employees on the bus he was riding in.

Hakeem thanked God for his life and safety while stating that his driver, Legba, was hit at close range since bullets were flying all over the place during the incident.

He said, “I thank God almighty for my life and the lives of my crew, we were attacked by kidnapers just after ikene 20minutes ago , they shot at us shattered the glass, kidnapped people …..but i thank God im alive, I thank God my driver (legba) was shot at at a close range, bullet flying everywhere but God drove if for us , me my wife and ny staffs are alive.”
