I’M Not A Saint-Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the February 25, 2023 election, said he’s not a saint and believes there’s nothing fundamentally wrong with Nigeria. He spoke at an event on November 2, 2023, in Edo State.

Obi also highlighted Nigeria’s natural beauty, resources, and the quality of its people. He stressed that good leadership is what’s missing in the country.

The event was a colloquium in honor of the national chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure. It aimed to discuss the future of Nigerian politics, with leaders like Governor Alex Otti present.

Obi emphasized the need for planning and responsible leadership to improve the country. He encouraged everyone to work together to create a better Nigeria.

He also urged people to stop corruption and wasteful spending of public funds, emphasizing the importance of good governance. The event’s host, Prof. S.E. Eromosele, stressed the need for human capacity development and citizen involvement in policy-making for a stronger Nigerian economy.
