Boxing: Francis Ngannou claims he prevailed against Tyson Fury

Despite the split verdict favoring the British, former UFC champion Francis Ngannou has maintained that he won his boxing battle versus Tyson Fury.

Ngannou knocked down the WBC heavyweight champion in Round 3 of their Saturday night boxing bout in Saudi Arabia, but the judgment was contentious.

The Cameroonian star revealed in a post-match interview with IU that he was aware that, being his debut, he would not prevail in a decision-making duel.

Ngannou said, “If he [Fury] is being honest, he would say I won that fight. I won that fight, there’s no question about it.

“But before getting here, I know that if the fight get to decisions, I’m not winning not because I didn’t do good but because I’m a new guy in the house.”
