The legal battle is set to commence as the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the National Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, have arrived at the Supreme Court.
Others include the National Security Adviser of Nigeria, Nuhu Ribadu and the acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum.
The apex court would hear the appeals of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar; Labour Party’s Peter Obi; and APM, seeking the court to nullify President Bola Tinubu’s victory.
Last Thursday, the Supreme Court communicated the hearing date through notices sent to all the parties.
The Apex Court also communicated the Justices that will form the panel to hear the case. According to the information in the notice, the list of members of the panel to sit on the appeals include justices Musa Dattijo Muhammad, Uwani Musa Abba Aji, Lawal Garba, Helen M. Ogunwumiju, I.N. Saulawa, Tijjani Abubakar and Emmanuel Agim.
