Tinubu Withdraws FERMA’s Chairman Appointment

The nomination of Engineer Imam Kashim Imam to chair the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency’s board of directors has been withdrawn, per President Bola Tinubu’s directive (FERMA).
According to THE MATRIX, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, revealed this in a statement on Thursday.
He declared that the above-mentioned nomination has been withdrawn by the President with immediate effect.
This order has no bearing on any other appointments to the FERMA Board of Directors or Executive Management team.
According to Naija News, the president was criticized by some Nigerians for selecting the 25-year-old to lead the federal agency.
The general consensus was that Kashim Imam, who apparently completed his National Youth Service last year, lacked sufficient expertise to lead such a critical organization.
