This visionary project aligns perfectly with the Governor’s THEMES PLUS agenda, a roadmap for Lagos’ development.
T.H.E.M.E.S PLUS encompasses Transportation and Traffic Management, Health and Environment, Education and Technology, Making Lagos State a 21st Century Megacity, Entertainment & Tourism, Security & Governance.

Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, heralded the Lagos Film City as a pioneering initiative in Africa. It will not only be the continent’s largest film city but also a hub of unparalleled content, acting, training, cinematography, and creativity. Investors are encouraged to join hands with the state in this monumental undertaking.
The Lagos Film City at Ejinrin is poised to elevate Lagos State to global prominence in the entertainment industry. This Public Private Partnership model will not only generate jobs but also boost economic growth and attract investments. It will serve as a comprehensive center for all aspects of filmmaking, from production to visual effects, scripting, cinematography, editing, and photography.
