Galatasaray Crowned Champions As Osimhen Nets Brace In Comeback Win

Victor Osimhen delivered when it mattered most, scoring twice as Galatasaray came from behind to beat Antalyaspor 4-2 and clinch a fourth consecutive Turkish Super Lig title on Friday.  

The visitors struck first through Soner Dikmen late in the opening half, but Mario Lemina levelled for Galatasaray in the 56th minute. 

Dikmen restored Antalyaspor’s lead six minutes later before Osimhen equalised from the penalty spot in the 66th minute.

The Nigerian forward completed the comeback with an 88th-minute winner, taking his league tally to 15 goals and five assists in 22 appearances this season. Kaan Ayhan added a stoppage-time goal to seal the result.

The win moved Galatasaray to 77 points, four ahead of Fenerbahçe with one match left, confirming another league triumph for Okan Buruk’s side.
