Accord Confirms Adeleke’s Nomination For Osun Governorship Race

The Accord Party in Osun State has confirmed that Governor Ademola Adeleke has been officially listed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as its governorship candidate for the August 8, 2026 election.

The party’s chairman, Pastor Victor Akande, said in a statement issued in Osogbo on Thursday that Adeleke’s name was successfully uploaded on INEC’s portal following the completion of all required documentation.

According to Akande, the development puts to rest concerns surrounding the party’s nomination process and signals full compliance with electoral guidelines.

He described the confirmation as a key milestone in the party’s preparations for the 2026 governorship contest.

Akande thanked party members and residents of the state for their support and urged eligible voters to complete their registration and obtain Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the poll.
