N180M Not Missing From NGO Account; It Was All Cruise – Verydarkman

Popular social critic Martins Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has clarified that no funds are missing from his NGO account, contrary to earlier claims.

In a video shared on Tuesday, Verydarkman expressed his disappointment with Nigerians for accepting the story without verifying its authenticity.

He criticized the public for quickly resorting to insults directed at him and his mother.

He stated, “No money is missing; my money is secured. It’s sad how people are so eager to believe negative news. I told my website manager to shut the site down just to observe people’s reactions. Nobody asked for evidence; they just ran with the story. I’m glad I pulled this stunt.”

Last Friday, Verydarkman had taken to Instagram, claiming that his NGO’s account had been hacked and N180 million stolen.

The revelation sparked widespread reactions online, only for him to later disclose that it was a deliberate plan to expose how quickly misinformation spreads.
