Music executive Ubi Franklin has addressed rumors about his role within Davido’s team, firmly denying claims that he acts as the singer’s personal assistant or nanny.

Responding to a comment on X (formerly Twitter), Franklin clarified that he serves as a business administrator for Davido, leveraging his professional qualifications and experience.

“Davido is Africa’s biggest artist and the owner of DMW,” Franklin wrote. “I work with him because I have the qualifications and experience to handle business administration. He calls me #thesolutionist—do with that what you will.”

Franklin emphasized his focus on the business aspects of Davido’s operations and dismissed taunts labeling him a P.A. or nanny.

“Those claims are an attempt to mock me,” he added. “If it makes you happy, so be it. But I am on the business end, and that’s where I’ll always be.”

He also praised Davido’s team, including his personal assistants, for their professional achievements and global exposure, noting that they lead lives many aspire to.
