Kano Donates N100m To Support Jigawa Tanker Explosion Victims

The Kano State Government has donated N100 million to assist victims of the recent fuel tanker explosion in Majiya town, Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Governor Abba Yusuf announced the donation during a condolence visit to Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, at the Government House in Dutse on Thursday.

The explosion has claimed the lives of 153 people, with many others still receiving medical treatment.

Governor Yusuf emphasized that the donation is aimed at supporting the bereaved families and aiding those injured.

Governor Namadi expressed deep appreciation for Kano’s support, assuring that the funds would be used effectively to help the victims.

In a separate event, Governor Yusuf also donated N100 million to traders affected by a fire disaster at the Kantin Kwari Textile Market.
