Police Launch Manhunt for Killers of Retired Army General Murdered in Abuja

Following the  the killing of retired Army Brigadier General Uwem Harold Udokwere on robbery attack at Sunshine Estate in Abuja ,the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has launched a manhunt for the killers

FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth C. Igweh, has denounced the attack and pledged to exhaust all avenues in capturing the culprits.

In a statement released by FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, it was disclosed that a comprehensive investigation into the incident has been launched, urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward.

“CP Benneth Igweh assures the family and the public of swift justice, with every effort being made to apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators of this heinous crime,” she added.

The body of the retired general has been transported to a hospital mortuary for autopsy, as investigations continue.
