Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom state has renamed the 21-storey Business Complex in the state, Udom Emmanuel Towers, he announced this on. Monday at his one year anniversary service and book presentation at the International Worship Center, Uyo. The governor said the gesture was to appreciate his predecessor for the enduring legacies he left behind that aided the smooth take off of his administration.
“You called it Dakkada Towers, but by the authority conferred on me as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, I rename this 21-storey edifice, Udom Emmanuel Towers, for the works you have done in our state.”

Governor Eno commended Mr. Emmanuel for erecting a standard worship center in the state, he said that the altar represents the quality of vision God usually revealed to his predecessor in office. Ex- governor Udom Emmanuel in his remarks congratulated his successor for a successful one year in office, wishing him eight years as governor and pledged never to play the godfather role or interfer in his government Emmanuel was full of thanks for the Fathers of Faith for their unalloyed support for Pastor Umo Eno who happens to be one of their own, acknowledging the fact that he is the only ordained minister of God presiding over the affairs of a state in the region.
He called on Governor Eno to be wary of sycophants with deceitful, divisive and inflammatory comments.
Emmanuel urged the governor to look into God alone will deliver him from his battles and save him.
“There is a tradition in Akwa Ibom, every other person served eight years, you will never be an exception.

“Thank you so much because so far so good, you have not let us down”, Mr Emmanuel concluded.
There were goodwill messages including the one from The Minister of Petroleum (Gas), Obongemem Ekperikpe Ekpo, who commended the Governor on his impactful one year in office, he also presented a message from The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
