BREAKING: Lagos Medical Director Convicted For Defiling Wife’s Niece

Dr. Olufemi Olaleye, the Medical Director of the Optical Cancer Care Foundation, was found guilty of defiling his wife’s niece by an Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Justice Rahman Oshodi declared that the prosecution had successfully proven Olaleye’s counts of defilement and sexual assault through penetration.

The evidence against the medical director, according to Oshodi, is strong.

Olaleye was charged with two counts that the Lagos State Government had brought against him, which included defilement and sexual assault by penetration of his wife’s niece.

On November 30, 2022, the prisoner was arraigned and entered a not guilty plea to the offenses.

The court was informed by Dr. Babajide Martins, the Director of Public Prosecutions, that Olaleye had committed the offenses at some point between February 2020 and November 2021

During the trial, the convict’s wife, Aderemi Olaleye, told the court that her husband had been sexually abusing her niece during her stay with them.

She testified that the convict first introduced pornography and oral sex to the victim and he released sperm into her mouth.

She said it started in March 2020 till July 2021.

The witness narrated to Justice Oshodi, that the girl confessed to a relative and their driver that the doctor had been sleeping with her and threatened to kill her and the witness if she told anyone.

The mother of two, who is the complainant said on oath, “My lord, on November 27, 2021, my second cousin told my aunty who is my mother’s sister that since March 2020 Femi has been sexually abusing her and introduced her to pornography, from there he graduated to oral sex with her, that he does this in different places in the home where there are no cameras.”
