Why Actor Ayoola Attempted Suicide

Actor and musician Ayoola Ayoola, from Nollywood, has talked about his attempt at suicide.

The actor from “The Men’s Club” said that after becoming pregnant with a kid he wasn’t ready for, he experienced depression and considered suicide.

He said he made the decision to end it all because he wasn’t ready to be a parent.

Ayoola stated he regretted what he had done after taking a close look at his son in an open conversation with Chude Jideonwo.

He said, “The time the pregnancy for my son came, I wasn’t prepared to be a father. I got depressed and almost took my life. I deliberately miscalculated while crossing the road so that I would be hit and the car just brushed me.

“I look at my son now and I’m like, ‘This is what I was about to miss? This is whose live I was about to destroy?’ This little boy would have been fatherless.”
